Nestled in the bushland of Wonga Park Reserve, the Gooligulch Playground brings to life the whimsical world of Graeme Base's "My Grandma Lived in Gooligulch." Children can explore a crooked house complete with a goanna slide and chimney tunnel, ride kangaroo swings, and interact with emu and wombat figures. The playground also features standard swings, kangaroo springers, a Nessie springer, and a big drum. A shaded picnic table provides a comfortable spot for families. The reserve offers additional amenities, including an oval, basketball and netball courts, and walking trails. Opened in 1998 and beautifully restored in 2021, the playground is part of a 7.7-hectare reserve that also caters to cricket, netball, tennis, walking, and BMX activities. As a dog off-leash area, it welcomes furry friends to join in the fun.
