Established in 1975, the Women's Community Centre at 64 Nelson Street, Stepney, is South Australia's oldest and only women's-only community centre in the metropolitan area. It offers a variety of services, including affordable programs, an op shop with quality clothing and bric-a-brac, and rooms for hire suitable for workshops and events. The centre operates Monday to Thursday from 10 am to 4:30 pm, providing a welcoming space for women to connect, learn, and grow. All services are run by women, for women, fostering a supportive community environment.
