Wombat Hollow Lodge offers a secluded retreat on 100 acres of pristine land in Budgong, New South Wales. The property features a kilometer-long, free-flowing pebbled creek and is bordered by the rugged escarpments of Budgong and Morton National Parks. Guests can enjoy activities such as mountain biking, fishing, hiking, and climbing, or relax by the creek amidst abundant wildlife, including rare species like the platypus and koala. With only three campsites, each spaced at least 400 meters apart, visitors are assured of peace, space, and privacy. Please note, guests must be self-contained with their own camp toilet; fresh drinking water is available on-site. Access is via a well-maintained unsealed road, suitable for ordinary sedans, though some minor causeways may make it unsuitable for buses. The Riverbend site is only suitable for 4x4 vehicles and off-road camp trailers. The lodge is a 40-minute drive from the sea and just 15 km from the historic town of Kangaroo Valley, offering a variety of water activities, golf, wineries, and quaint shopping experiences.
