Wombat Creek campground

Wombat Creek Campground, nestled in Barrington Tops National Park, offers a secluded retreat accessible only by foot. The campground features five unmarked sites, non-flush toilets, and wood barbecues (firewood not provided). Visitors can enjoy walking, wildlife encounters, and the pristine wilderness of the sub-alpine region. Access is via Careys Peak lookout or the more challenging Corker trail. Please note, Barrington trail is open to vehicles from October 1 to May 31, with potential temporary closures due to weather conditions. A $6 booking fee applies; no camping fees are charged.
