Nestled within Para Wirra Conservation Park, Wirra Campground offers 19 campsites among pink gums, grass trees, and hop bush. Located just southeast of Gawler, it's one of the closest camping spots to Adelaide. The campground provides accessible toilets, a basic camp kitchen with gas barbecues, and fire pits for use outside the fire ban season. Activities include bushwalking trails like the Tree Creeper Loop and Lake Discovery Trail, mountain biking, and exploring the Barossa Goldfields. Pets are allowed on leads, and campers are encouraged to bring their own firewood.
