Embark on a 4½-hour eco-cruise from Coles Bay to Wineglass Bay, traversing the stunning Freycinet National Park coastline. Marvel at the dramatic pink peaks of the Hazards range and discover secluded white sand beaches like Cooks and Bryans, accessible only by water or a full-day bushwalk. Explore Schouten Island's inner passage, home to little penguins and short-tailed shearwaters, before entering the Tasman Sea towards Wineglass Bay. Whales, such as humpback and southern right, migrate through the area from September to December and May to July. Cruises operate daily, except Christmas Day, departing from 61 Jetty Road, Coles Bay. The vessel, Schouten Passage II, is a 150-seat catamaran with two fully air-conditioned lounges: the Vista Lounge and the Sky Lounge. The Vista Lounge offers floor-to-ceiling windows and spacious outdoor decks, complemented by a licensed bar and café serving local beverages, hot drinks, and treats. A ploughman's-style lunch featuring smoked meats, salad, cheeses, locally baked bread, fruit, and a sweet treat is included. The Sky Lounge, an adults-only area on the upper deck, provides an intimate experience with banquet-style seating for up to 30 passengers, direct access to the captain's bridge, and a private viewing deck. Morning tea, lunch, and beverages are included in the Sky Lounge ticket. Check-in is by 9:30 am, with the cruise running from 9:45 am to 2:30 pm.
