Nestled in the heart of Widgee, Queensland, the Widgee District Hall & Recreation Association Inc. serves as a vibrant community hub. Known locally as the Bushman's Bar, it offers a licensed bar and country-cooked meals on Friday and Saturday evenings. The venue hosts various events throughout the year, including the annual Widgee Bushman's Carnival Campdraft in May and the Widgee Balladeers & Country Music Muster in October. The grounds feature a basic campground with powered and unpowered sites, suitable for campers, caravans, and motorhomes. Toilet and shower facilities are available, and pets are welcome on a leash. The venue is managed by volunteers from the Widgee District Hall & Recreation Association Inc.
