Whistling Kite Biodynamic Vineyard

Whistling Kite Biodynamic Vineyard, established in 2010, is a family-owned winery located on the banks of the River Murray in New Residence, South Australia. The vineyard spans 16 hectares and is renowned for its commitment to organic and biodynamic farming practices, achieving certification in 1997 and 2007, respectively. Visitors can enjoy wine tastings at the cellar door, which offers breathtaking views of the river and surrounding vineyards. The winery produces a diverse range of wines, including varieties like Chardonnay, Shiraz, Petit Manseng, Montepulciano, and Mencia, all crafted using wild yeast ferments to highlight the unique terroir of the region. The cellar door is open Thursday through Monday, from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
