Whian Whian State Conservation Area

Whian Whian State Conservation Area, located north of Lismore, offers a variety of outdoor activities, including cycling, hiking, and horse riding trails, as well as waterfalls and creeks suitable for swimming and fishing. The area is home to diverse plant and animal species, including threatened species such as the spotted-tailed quoll, koalas, and Albert's lyrebird. Visitors can enjoy day walks, picnics, and mountain biking, with the tranquil Rummery Park campground providing a base for longer adventures. The conservation area is open year-round but may close during adverse weather conditions.
