The West Coast Heritage Centre in Zeehan offers a comprehensive exploration of Tasmania's rich mining history. Visitors can delve into mining relics, experience an underground mine simulation in the Crocoite Cavern, and admire a world-class mineral collection. The Gaiety Theatre, built in 1898, showcases Edwardian films, while the Masonic Lodge display provides insights into the secretive society of Freemasons. Open daily from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm, the centre is closed on Christmas and Boxing Days.
