Perched on the westernmost point of Yorke Peninsula within Innes National Park, West Cape Lighthouse offers a serene coastal experience. Constructed in 1980, this unmanned stainless steel tower stands 9 meters tall, guiding ships safely into Spencer Gulf. Visitors can embark on a 1.2-kilometer loop trail, the West Cape Headland Circuit, which takes approximately 45 minutes to complete. The trail leads to a 360-degree viewing platform, providing panoramic vistas of West Cape, Pondalowie Bay, and Marion Bay Township. The lighthouse grounds are open year-round, though the tower itself is not accessible to the public.
