Located at the junction of the Murray and Darling Rivers, Wentworth Wharf was originally built in 1879 using local timber. It served as a major landmark and a bustling hub for river trade, with Wentworth being the busiest inland port in New South Wales during the riverboat era. The original wharf deteriorated and was demolished in 1983. A replica, including the original customs office, now stands in its place, offering visitors a glimpse into the town's rich colonial heritage. The site features a car park and is accessible to people with access needs.
