The facility comprises 20 inpatient beds: 12 for sub/post-acute care and 8 for transitional care. It provides recovery and rehabilitation services for patients transitioning from other hospitals, ensuring a safe return home. The Transitional Aged Care Program offers nursing care, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and medical assistance to help older individuals regain independence in a home-like environment. Overnight care is available post-day surgery for patients without home support. Additional services include drug and alcohol treatment, general medicine, needle and syringe programs, and outreach services. A $30 million redevelopment project is underway to enhance inpatient and community health services for Wentworth and surrounding areas.
