Wellstead Museum & Cafe Bremer Bay

Nestled in Bremer Bay's first farming settlement, the Wellstead Museum & Cafe offers a unique blend of history and hospitality. The museum showcases over 6,000 artifacts, including vintage motor vehicles, tractors, and engines dating back to 1904, providing insights into early colonial life. Adjacent to the museum, the cafe serves a diverse menu featuring wood-fired pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, and salads, all crafted from locally sourced ingredients. The reconstructed wood-fired baker's oven, originally from Albany's first commercial bakery, adds a traditional touch to the dining experience. Visitors can also enjoy a selection of hot and cold beverages in a cozy atmosphere. The venue is open Wednesday to Sunday from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with wood-fired pizzas available on Friday nights.
