Located at 1 Hibberd Drive in Rocky Point, the Weipa Community Care Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Weipa, Napranum, and Mapoon communities. Established in 1986, it offers a range of services, including a Women's Shelter, Family Day Care, Outside School Hours Care, Healing Services, Domestic Violence Counseling, a No Interest Loan Scheme (NILS), Youth Alcohol and Other Drug Services, an Opportunity Shop, Café, and Community Centre. The association also focuses on community development and event management to enhance local resilience.
