
Weengallon is a rural locality in Queensland's Goondiwindi Region, Australia, covering approximately 856.5 square kilometers. As of the 2021 census, it has a population of 46 residents. The area is traversed by the Barwon Highway, connecting it to neighboring towns. Historically, Weengallon is notable for the Ngaru-gi Gali ('to drink') rock wells, deep water holes used by Indigenous Australians, including the Kalkadoon people, during their movements from Mount Isa to the Bunya Mountains. The locality was officially named and bounded on 26 November 1999.
