Waua Islet, also known as Wyer Island or Waier Island, is a small island in the Murray Islands group of the Torres Strait, Queensland, Australia. Located approximately 3.5 kilometers south of Mer Island, it is part of the Torres Strait Island Region. The islet is uninhabited, with a land area of 0.1 square kilometers and a coastline of 2.8 kilometers. The surrounding waters are rich in marine life, including fish, turtles, and dugongs. The nearest airport is Murray Island Airport, situated about 4 kilometers northeast of Waua Islet.
