Watertank art Tarcutta rest art

Located at the Kilgowlah Rest Area on the Hume Highway, approximately 13.2 km south of Tarcutta, NSW, the Tarcutta Water Tank Art is a captivating mural painted by Peter and Samara Ingram in early 2020. The artwork features Indigenous scenes, including people gathered around a fire under the stars, sharing stories of days gone by, and a depiction of the Rainbow Serpent, an immortal being and creator god in Aboriginal mythology.
