Waterhouse Conservation Area, located on Tasmania's north-east coast, is a tranquil haven for nature enthusiasts. The area features diverse wetland communities, including three major permanent deep-water lagoons: Blackmans Lagoon, Big Waterhouse Lake, and Little Waterhouse Lake. The reserve is home to a variety of wildlife, including nine threatened bird species and the rare dwarf galaxias fish.
