Warragai Creek Nature Reserve, established in January 1999, spans 186 hectares in the Clarence Valley, approximately 17 km northeast of Grafton. Formerly part of Southgate State Forest, it conserves the Clarence Lowlands Spotted Gum Forest Ecosystem, a region extensively cleared and poorly conserved. The reserve provides habitat for threatened species, including the endangered weeping paperbark and native milkwort, and supports a significant koala population. While it offers natural beauty, there are no formal recreational facilities available.
