Warby-Ovens National Park

Warby-Ovens National Park, located near Wangaratta, Victoria, encompasses diverse landscapes, including the granite hills of the Warby Range, the Box-Ironbark forests of Killawarra, and the River Red Gum forests along the Ovens River. This park offers a range of activities such as bushwalking, birdwatching, cycling, camping, and canoeing. The Ovens River provides some of the best still-water canoeing in the state, ideal for paddlers of any ability. The park is also home to diverse wildlife, including Black Wallabies and Eastern Grey Kangaroos. Notably, it has been recognized on the IUCN Green List for its outstanding natural values and effective management.
