Waratah Park, located at 13 Namba Road in Duffys Forest, is a heritage-listed site renowned as the filming location for the iconic Australian television series "Skippy the Bush Kangaroo" (1967–1969). Adjacent to Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, it encompasses 12.6 hectares of bushland, featuring the original Ranger's Headquarters building and remnants of the TV set. In 2014, ownership transferred to the Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Land Council, which plans to redevelop the area as a center for Aboriginal and environmental education.
