Nestled along the serene Wannon River within the Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park, Wannon Crossing Campground offers a tranquil retreat surrounded by dense eucalypt forest. This free campground features six tent sites with adjacent vehicle parking and one drive-in site suitable for camper trailers, caravans, campervans, and large tents. Amenities include non-flush toilets, picnic tables, and designated fire pits; please bring your own firewood. A seasonal water tank provides non-potable water. Dogs, firearms, fishing, horses, and generators are not permitted. The campground serves as a gateway to iconic peaks like Mount Abrupt and Mount Sturgeon, offering breathtaking vistas of the rugged landscape.
