Wangi Library Creative Hub

Wangi Library Creative Hub, also known as wanji wanji, is a vibrant community space in Wangi Wangi, NSW. As the first in the Hunter Region to operate under a 'community self-access' model, it offers members flexible access to library services seven days a week, with self-access from 7 am. The hub features dedicated areas for artmaking, local exhibitions, and community workshops, alongside refreshed spaces for books and other items for loan. Members aged 12 and over can apply for self-access during non-staffed hours. The creative space, including the covered back deck, is available for hire for art classes, workshops, and children's activities. The name 'wanji wanji' is the traditional Awabakal term for the area, reflecting the cultural heritage of the region.
