
Wangaratta Common Nature Conservation Reserve, located in Wangaratta, Victoria, is a pristine native grassland spanning approximately 189.5 acres. Home to over 96 plant species, it offers a vibrant display in spring and early summer. The reserve features a woodland area with a seasonal River Red Gum wetland and a grassy Grey Box woodland, providing excellent bird-watching opportunities. Accessed via walking tracks from Tone Road, Mason Street, Greta Road, Hay Avenue, and Connell Street, the reserve is best experienced during spring and dry winters. Please note, dogs are not permitted, and camping is not allowed.
