Housed in the restored St. Michael's Catholic Church, the Wandong History Group preserves the rich heritage of Wandong and Heathcote Junction. Established in 2012, the group has amassed a diverse collection of photographs, maps, and artifacts, highlighting the area's early settlement, industrial developments, and wartime contributions. Visitors can explore exhibitions that showcase the township's evolution, including its significant role in Victoria's timber industry. The church, built in 1891, serves as a fitting backdrop for these historical displays. Open on Tuesdays from 10 am to 4 pm, the group also offers access by appointment.
