Wandoan South Solar Farm Stage 1, located in Woleebee, Queensland, is a 125 MW solar facility that commenced operations in February 2024. Developed by Vena Energy, the farm comprises approximately 250,000 solar photovoltaic panels and is expected to generate up to 365 GWh of clean energy annually, sufficient to power around 60,000 Australian homes. The project is part of the larger Wandoan South Project, which includes plans for additional solar and battery energy storage capacity.
