The Walpole Community Resource Centre (CRC) is a not-for-profit, community-run organization dedicated to enhancing the vibrancy and livability of Walpole and surrounding districts. Located at 24 Latham Avenue, the CRC offers a wide range of services, including access to government agencies such as the Australian Electoral Commission, Australian Taxation Office, Centrelink, Medicare, Department of Human Services, and Department of Veterans Affairs. It also publishes the Walpole Weekly community newspaper and provides facilities like a meeting room equipped with teleconferencing and audiovisual technology, accommodating up to 35 people. Additionally, the CRC manages larger community facilities under license from the Shire of Manjimup, assisting in hosting and organizing significant events. Business and personal office services are available, including computer use, broadband internet access, video conferencing, faxing, photocopying, printing, scanning, laminating, document binding, and website design and hosting. Many of these services are offered at discounted rates for CRC members. The CRC is open Tuesday to Friday, 9 am to 4 pm, and is managed and operated by members of the Walpole & Districts community.
