Walls of Jerusalem National Park

Walls of Jerusalem National Park, nestled in Tasmania's Central Highlands, offers a rugged alpine landscape of dolerite peaks, ancient pencil pine forests, and numerous lakes and tarns. As part of the Tasmanian Wilderness World Heritage Area, it provides a remote and pristine environment for experienced bushwalkers. The park is accessible only on foot, with tracks leading to notable features like Solomons Throne, The Temple, and Mount Jerusalem. Overnight camping is available at Wild Dog Creek and Dixons Kingdom, with facilities including raised tent platforms and composting toilets. Visitors should be well-prepared for rapidly changing alpine weather conditions.
