Nestled within Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park, Waldheim Cabins offer a rustic retreat amid ancient temperate rainforests and buttongrass plains. These eight cabins, accommodating four to eight guests, feature electric heating, single bunk beds, basic cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, and electric stoves. Guests should bring their own bedding and toiletries; linen can be provided for an additional fee. Two amenities blocks with hot showers and flushing toilets are available nearby. The cabins are situated at the heart of the park's day-walk zone, providing easy access to various walking tracks, including the Weindorfers Forest Walk and the Dove Lake Circuit. Wildlife enthusiasts can often spot wallabies and wombats in the vicinity. Please note that tap water at the cabins is not potable.
