Nestled on Illawong Road in Parawa, South Australia, Waitpinga Conservation Park spans 3 hectares and is dedicated to preserving the rare Coral Fern (Gleichenia microphylla). Established in 1960, the park features a low open forest of Swamp Gum, Pink Gum, and various stringybarks, with an understory of tea-trees, hakeas, and totem-poles. Birdwatchers can observe species like the Brush Bronzewing, Red-browed Finch, Crescent Honeyeater, New Holland Honeyeater, and Adelaide Rosella. The park is located approximately 18 km east of Delamere, off Range Road between Delamere and Victor Harbor.
