Operating from their base at 7 Altmann Avenue, Cannonvale, they provide 24/7 emergency response services, including search and rescue operations and medical evacuations. Their two purpose-built rescue vessels, Coral Sea Marina VMR1 and Whale Song VMR2, are equipped to handle various maritime emergencies. In addition to rescue operations, VMR Whitsunday offers vessel monitoring services on weekends and public holidays, enhancing safety for all mariners in the area.
