Upper Colo Bridge

The Upper Colo Bridge, spanning the Colo River on Colo Heights Road in Upper Colo, NSW, is a vital single-lane concrete structure that accommodates both vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Completed in July 2023, it replaced the original 1936 timber bridge destroyed by the March 2021 floods. The new bridge features wooden kerbs honoring its predecessor and includes bench seating and interpretive signage crafted from the original timbers, reflecting on the area's indigenous history, European colonization, and the bridge's legacy.
