Ulooloo Creek, located near Hallett in South Australia's Mid North region, is a historically significant watercourse. Discovered by Surveyor General Captain Frome in 1843, it became the focal point of the Ulooloo goldfields during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The area is also renowned for the Ulooloo Homestead, built in 1888 for Sir John Melrose, a notable pastoralist and innovator. Today, Ulooloo Creek remains a testament to the region's rich pastoral and mining heritage.
