
Ulooloo Creek, located near Hallett in South Australia's Mid North region, is a historically significant watercourse. Discovered by Surveyor General Captain Frome in 1843, it became the focal point of the Ulooloo goldfield during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The area is also renowned for its pastoral heritage, notably the Ulooloo Station homestead, built in 1888 for the Melrose family. Today, Ulooloo Creek remains a picturesque and culturally rich landmark, reflecting the region's diverse history and natural beauty.
