Tyntynder Homestead, established in 1846 by brothers Andrew and Peter Beveridge, is a heritage-listed property located 16 km north of Swan Hill in Victoria's Swan Hill irrigation district. As one of the earliest surviving homesteads in the region, it offers a fascinating glimpse into early colonial life. The homestead features original furnishings, a cellar housing Aboriginal artifacts, and a chock log cabin kitchen filled with pioneer memorabilia. The surrounding gardens, established in the mid-1800s, are home to a variety of native birds, embodying the area's Aboriginal name, "song of the birds."
