Turon National Park

Turon National Park, located near Lithgow and 185 km west of Sydney, offers a remote bush camping experience amidst diverse vegetation, including eucalypt forests, silver wattles, and river oaks. The park's rich history features remnants from the Australian gold mining boom and evidence of early Aboriginal occupation. Visitors can enjoy activities such as bushwalking, camping, trout fishing, birdwatching, swimming, mountain biking, and canoeing. Wildlife includes powerful owls and red wallabies.
