Located in Tumut's historic Old Butter Factory, the Tumut Visitor Centre serves as the ideal starting point for exploring northern Kosciuszko National Park. The centre offers a 24-hour tourism touch screen, a retail shop with visitor guides, topographical and 4WD maps, and knowledgeable staff ready to assist with trip planning, accommodation bookings, and up-to-date information on road conditions and fire warnings. Visitors can also view corroboree frogs on display and explore the local exhibition space. Guided tours in the national park are available upon inquiry.
