Venue

Tumby Bay, SA

Built in 1874, Tumby Bay Jetty is the second oldest on Eyre Peninsula, originally constructed to ship ore from the Burrowing Mine. The jetty is renowned for its diverse marine life, including stingrays, seamoths, and the rare leafy sea dragons, making it a popular spot for divers. In October 2022, the jetty was closed due to storm damage, but after extensive repairs, it reopened in May 2024, offering partial public access. Visitors can enjoy scenic views, fishing, and the unique underwater ecosystem that thrives beneath the structure.
