Tuan Forestry Office

Tuan State Forest, located near Tuan in Queensland, offers a serene coastal retreat with diverse natural landscapes. The forest features extensive exotic pine plantations, remnants of eucalypt forests, coastal wallum, melaleuca wetlands, and mangrove-lined estuaries. Visitors can enjoy activities such as camping, fishing, boating, cycling, and horseriding. The Log Dump camping area provides creek-side camping on Kauri Creek, while Hedleys camping area offers a sheltered spot along the Great Sandy Strait. The area is also home to diverse wildlife, including the glossy-black cockatoo and the vulnerable water mouse.
