Truganini Lookout, situated on The Neck isthmus connecting North and South Bruny Island, offers panoramic 360-degree views of Adventure Bay, the D’Entrecasteaux Channel, and distant Tasmanian mountains. Visitors ascend approximately 200 timber steps to reach the viewing platform, where a memorial honors Truganini, a prominent Aboriginal woman of the Nuenonne tribe. The area is also a rookery for little penguins and short-tailed shearwaters, with optimal viewing from September to February. Facilities include a car park and basic toilet amenities.
