Truffle Lodge

Truffle Lodge offers a unique luxury glamping experience on the banks of the Derwent River, just 39 km from Hobart. Guests stay in spacious 75-square-metre safari tents, each featuring a king-sized bed, lounge area, and private ensuite bathroom housed in a converted water tank with a handmade wooden bath and rain shower. The tents are connected by timber boardwalks to the lodge, which includes dining and lounge areas with glass walls and open decks overlooking the river. The property is rich in wildlife, including platypus, echidnas, wombats, wallabies, and abundant birdlife. Activities such as fly fishing, kayaking, biking, wildlife spotting, and walks through the truffle orchard are available. Truffle Lodge is committed to eco-friendly principles and is a designated Land for Wildlife property.
