Located within Lou Litster Park in Railway Estate, Train Park offers a delightful experience for train enthusiasts and families alike. Operated by the Townsville District Society of Model Engineers, this not-for-profit society provides miniature train rides on the last Sunday of each month, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Visitors can enjoy unlimited rides for a nominal fee, with tickets available at the station ticket office. The park features a track with tunnels and bridges, where both diesel and steam engines operate on specified days. Ample shaded areas are available for picnics and relaxation, making it an ideal spot for a family outing. Please note that trains may be canceled without notice due to poor weather conditions.
