Town Beach Jetty

The Town Beach Jetty in Broome, Western Australia, is a 112-meter accessible structure that extends over Roebuck Bay, offering year-round enjoyment for both locals and visitors. Completed in November 2022, it provides a prime spot to witness the "Staircase to the Moon" natural phenomenon, where the rising moon illuminates the exposed mudflats, creating a staircase-like effect. The jetty's design accommodates Broome's significant tidal variations, featuring a 1.1-meter high balustrade for safety during low tides. It's a hub for fishing enthusiasts, with opportunities to catch species like trevally and barramundi.
