Tooloom walking track

Immerse yourself in the lush rainforest of Tooloom National Park on the 1km Tooloom walking track, a loop that takes 15 to 45 minutes to complete. This Grade 2 trail is clearly signposted and features a flat, formed path approximately 1 meter wide, which can be muddy and slippery after heavy rain. Along the way, you'll encounter towering rainforest trees, vines, and twisted roots of strangler figs among walking stick palms. Keep an eye out for over 200 bird species, including the endangered Coxen’s fig-parrot. The track begins at Tooloom picnic area, where accessible non-flush toilets and a picnic table are available. Parking is located on Tooloom Road, a short walk from the trailhead.
