Tooloom lookout

A short, easy walk from Tooloom picnic area leads to Tooloom Lookout, offering panoramic views of the lush Tooloom Scrub rainforest and the Great Dividing Range. The trail winds through tall eucalypt forests, with a vibrant understorey of blady and kangaroo grasses, and acacia scrub. Along the path, keep an eye out for southern angle-headed dragons basking in the sun, and observe various species of wallabies and kangaroos, including the distinctive black-striped wallaby. Remember to bring a hat, sunscreen, and drinking water, and note that mobile reception is limited in this area.
