Tintinara Homestead, established in the 1860s, is a historic property located 7 km west of Tintinara, South Australia. The original settlers, T.W. and J.H. Boothby, named the station "Tintinara" after their Aboriginal workman, Tin Tin, a member of the Coorong Tribe. In 1865, William Harding and George Bunn constructed a remarkable 16-stand shearing shed with 80 cm thick limestone walls and Oregon timber supports, some nearly 11 meters long, transported from Kingston by bullock drays. Both the homestead and shearing shed are classified by the National Trust.
