Tilley Swamp

Tilley Swamp is a tranquil locality in South Australia's Limestone Coast region, approximately 199 kilometers southeast of Adelaide and 55 kilometers north of Kingston SE. Established on December 3, 1998, it encompasses about 595.7 square kilometers and is home to a small community of 27 residents as of the 2016 census. The area is renowned for its natural beauty, featuring the Tilley Swamp Conservation Park and the Gum Lagoon Conservation Park, both offering opportunities for wildlife observation and appreciation of the local flora and fauna. The region's climate is characterized by warm summers and mild winters, with an average annual rainfall of 408.1 mm. Tilley Swamp is part of the Kingston District Council and falls within the federal division of Barker and the state electoral district of MacKillop.
