Tickera, SA

Nestled in Tickera, South Australia, the Tickera Historic Well is a testament to the region's rich history. Established in the 1850s, it was one of two wells on the pastoral lease of Parnell and Bowman. This well provided essential water for cattle being transported from Crystal Brook to Kadina and Wallaroo, supplying meat to these townships. In the 1860s, it also supplied water to the Moonta Mines. Restored as part of the Australian Bicentennial Project, the well remains a significant historical landmark.
