
The Theatre Royal, located at 208 Main Street in Lithgow, NSW 2790, is a historic venue with a rich heritage. Originally opened in 1917 as a live theatre, it underwent significant reconstruction in 1926-1927 under the design of architect Henry Eli White. By 1946, it was operating as the Royal Cinema. In 1991, the venue was converted into a nightclub, which ceased operations by February 2004. The building was listed for sale in 2019.
